The War on Children - By John MacArthur
For Every Christian Parent!
Every Parent should read this book. Let me say it again…EVERY PARENT. There is an attack on our children and on us. If you have any desire to protect your children then order this book now. I even attached the link: https://a.co/d/hW7nhG3…It is that important.
Getting to the heart of it…
1. Parents must become protectors in a hostile world
MacArthur emphasizes that culture is aggressively targeting children — morally, spiritually, and intellectually — and that parents must act as vigilant guardians who equip their kids with biblical truth.
2. The battle for children is ultimately a battle for truth
He teaches that the greatest danger children face is not political or social, but spiritual deception. Only Scripture provides the clarity and stability needed to stand firm.
3. The home—not the school, not society—is the center of discipleship
MacArthur stresses that God gave parents—not institutions—the responsibility to train their children in righteousness.
4. Moral confusion is intentional
He describes the cultural moral collapse as an orchestrated attack that aims to normalize sin and reshape children's understanding of right and wrong.
5. The church must stand boldly, not quietly
MacArthur urges Christian parents to courageously reject cultural pressure and anchor their families in biblical conviction, even when it’s unpopular.
6. Children need protection AND preparation
It’s not enough to shield kids; parents must actively disciple them so they can discern error and live faithfully in a fallen world.

Trusting God - By Jerry Bridges
A powerful read for both men and women.
When answers seem out of reach and understanding is nowhere to be found, can you still trust God? If you’re walking through a difficult season and feel overwhelmed or defeated, this book is for you.Our family went through a challenging time, and in the middle of searching for clarity, God led me to Trusting God. It helped redirect my focus back to my heavenly Father and reminded me of His sovereignty and goodness. I was so encouraged that I bought copies for others who were struggling as well.
A deeply comforting and faith-strengthening book.

Finishing Strong - Steve Farrar
Only one in ten Christian men will finish strong.
“It’s not where you start that matters — it’s how you finish.”That statistic should shake every one of us. Steve lays out the hard truth about what pulls men away from God and why we must guard our hearts, our minds, and our walk. Nine out of ten men won’t take this seriously.
Will you?
If you want to finish strong… read this book.

Anchor Man - By Steve Farrar
This is a MUST READ for every dad. One thing our culture lacks is discipline, even in the Christian home. This is such a controversial subject but Scripture is very clear, that we as fathers must practice biblical discipline.
“My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by Him; For those whom the Lord loves He disciplines.” -Heb 12:5
Quote from the book: “If a child never learns to “fear” his earthly father, then how is he ever going to learn to “fear” his heavenly Father?”
Prov 1:7, 8:13, 9:10, 10:27, 14:26, 14:27, 15:33, 16:6, 19:23
If you are struggling with discipline, this is the book to read.

Point Man - By Steve Farrar
Point Man is the book I recommend more than any other — and for good reason. It speaks directly to every man. The description says it best:
“Most men want to be strong leaders of their families. They just don’t know how because they’ve never seen it modeled.”That line captured my own struggle growing up. I rarely saw men spiritually leading their homes, and it left a gap I deeply felt. I wanted to break that cycle — and that desire ultimately led me to write “You Are The Man.”
Point Man isn’t just a book; it’s a blueprint for men who want to lead well.

Disciplines of a Godly Man
Disciplines of a Godly Man is my go-to book for discipleship. Every time I read it, I walk away both challenged and encouraged. I discipled both of my sons through Disciplines of a Godly Young Man, drawing from the wisdom in the main book as well. My wife disciples women using Disciplines of a Godly Woman, and I’ve led my small group through Disciplines of a Godly Family.
These books are must-reads for every Christian family. They build spiritual strength, deepen relationships, and anchor your home in Christ.
Men — if you’re not in a discipleship relationship, it’s time.
And this is the book to start with. -

The Pursuit of Holiness - By Jerry Bridges
I absolutely love this book, especially the audiobook version. “The Pursuit of Holiness” is Jerry Bridges best known book but to be honest all his books are great. l love his honesty as he himself is Pursing Holiness along side his readers. This is also a great go to book for Men’s Discipleship.

Battle Ready - By Steve Farrar
This was the most timely book I have ever read. I was in the middle of writing my book and was also in a time of transition when I came across this book. I have no doubt God lead me to this book to help me through that transitional time. Chapter 6 was like my Father speaking directly to me. It renewed my purpose in writing and helped me overcome the delays and doubts and trust in God’s timing.
This is a great book for men to read who are struggling with career hardships and overall accomplishment.

Tempered Steel - By Steve Farrar
If you can’t tell by now, I’m a huge fan of Steve Farrar’s writing. His humility, powerful storytelling, and deep grasp of Scripture always draw me in. Tempered Steel is no exception — it’s a must-read for every man.
Reading this book (along with Battle Ready) feels like watching a Rocky training montage. It fires you up, strengthens your resolve, and shapes you into a man ready to fight the good fight.
Another incredible book from Steve Farrar — and one every man should read.
